Help in crisis. Hope in Christ.
Mission of Mercy helps people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances. We provide temporary housing, practical support, care, and mentoring, and we help people take the next steps toward a stable and responsible life.
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
We believe a person needs more than help with today's problems. The deepest hope anyone has is to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.
We do not ask a person to become a believer first. We meet people where they are, walk alongside them, and speak openly about the Gospel.
Who we are
Mission of Mercy is a Christian ministry connected with Living Hope Bible Church. We serve people in crisis through mercy, relationships, practical help, and the Gospel.
Our aim is not limited to easing circumstances for a time. We want to help a person see hope, take responsibility for their life, and come to know Jesus Christ.
How we can help
Temporary housing and daily care
A safe place to live, meals, and help with basic daily needs, within the Mission's capacity.
Relationships and mentoring
Personal time with the ministers, support, and help in making responsible decisions and building a new way of life.
Practical steps
Help with employment, documents, transportation, and other practical matters — depending on the situation and the Mission's capacity.
Learning about the Gospel
We read the Bible and talk about God, sin, forgiveness, and Jesus Christ. The Gospel is not an addition to our help — it is its foundation and its goal.
A person's past does not define them
We consider requests from people with all kinds of pasts, including those who have lived through addiction, broken relationships, homelessness, incarceration, or other hard consequences of life's decisions.
At the same time, acceptance into the program is always considered individually. We weigh safety, a person's current condition, legal circumstances, and whether the Mission can provide the kind of help that is actually needed.
Faith is not a condition for reaching out
You can come to us even if you do not consider yourself a believer, if you have doubts, or if you know almost nothing about Christianity. We do not pressure anyone to profess faith, but we speak honestly and openly about Christ and the Gospel.
A new step is possible
If you are in a difficult situation and you are ready to accept help and change the direction of your life, get in touch. We will listen to your story and determine whether we are able to help.
